This is who we are
DPZ designs, installs, and manages clean energy and battery storage systems for Zimbabwe’s commercial and industrial sectors. Whether you’re switching, supplementing, or securing your power supply, we deliver smart clean energy infrastructure with scalable capacity and 24/7 monitoring, so your operations keep running, even when the grid doesn’t.
Zero upfront investment
With our zero-capex model, customers don’t pay for the system, they only pay for the power they use. DPZ covers the cost of installation, equipment, and maintenance, making clean energy adoption frictionless and cash-flow positive from day one.
Our projects
A selection of commissioned clean energy and hybrid power installations delivering reliable uptime and measurable savings.
Schweppes Willowvale
We commissioned this hybrid power system in November 2019 at the Schweppe’s Willowvale plant. The system is engineered with over 2000 panels and it is also hybrid with a diesel generator integration to ensure 100% power uptime. The plant is custom built to generate electricity to improve operational efficiencies in the manufacturing processes. The project construction created employment for over 60 families.
Luxaflor Roses Farm
This plant was commissioned in February 2020 with a grid tied PV solution, diesel generator and battery backup. This plant powers the flower grading process plant, irrigation equipment, cold storage rooms and green house equipment, and is custom built to generate a power saving of 30% on blended costs, while maximising on daytime sunlight.
Tanganda
The solar plant was commissioned in October 2020 at the Ratelshoek estate. The system is generating electricity to power the tea processing plant and irrigation equipment. At commissioning, the plant was the largest PV plant built for self-consumption in the C & I sector in Zimbabwe.
Why it matters
Zimbabwe’s power challenges demand solutions that are clean, local, and built to last. DPZ delivers all three, helping the country’s businesses move away from diesel, embrace sustainability, and secure long-term energy stability.
